In the Church we have at our disposal a vast array of resources, music, symbols and rituals that ease and celebrate life's transitions. Birth, coming of age, marriage, divorce, death: these are life's passages, and when they are left unmarked in sign or ceremony, it's hard to move freely into the next stage of life. The Church has both experience and flexibility for celebrating the joy and sorrow that are always involved in life's changes.
